How much does it cost to post a ride?
Nothing...it's FREE!
Do I need to register and log-in each time I use the Student Ride Board?
Yes. This is how we keep the site secure. You wouldn't want some random person offering or asking for rides, and put you're safety at risk.
Will my email address be displayed to the general public?
No. Other users simply click on a link in your ad and email you through our system, without ever learning your email address. It's easy and it keeps you anonymous. Then, if you choose to reply to an email, the sender will then (and only then) learn your email address. Of course, you also have the option of including a phone number in your profile. That information will be displayed to ONLY registered users who views your ad.
Do I have to put my telephone number in my ad?
Absolutely not. Though if you do, we recommend using a cell phone number instead of your home number.
Is there a limit to how many ads I can place?
Not generally, no. However, we reserve the right to place limits on the number of ads posted by an individual user if we determine that our [ Terms and Conditions ] are being violated.
Can I place a commercial ad within my posted ad on utahrideboard.com?
Definitely not. In fact, violators are subject to a fine as described in the [ Terms and Conditions ]. That being said, if you're interested in approved advertising on the Student Ride Board, please contact us.
